10 Wrestlers Who Could Take Over From The Undertaker

5. Randy Orton

Bring back the Legend Killer, and make his annual hunting ground WrestleMania!
Again, when talking about who could replace The Undertaker, you’re going more for the big event feel than you are for a direct replacement. Randy Orton isn’t about to don a trench coat, hat, and start rolling his eyes back in his head. What he can do, however, is be positioned as a fighter who always wins when it really matters – at the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania.

Orton’s currently 5-7 at mania, so he’s not about to match the streak any time soon. But were he to go back to the legend killer persona, and take on some “living” (read: active) legends, he could start to dominate the event.

First stop, Triple H. Kane. Big Show. And any other number of workers with serious name value. His RKO is arguably one of the most popular finishing moves in the company thanks to the internet wrestling community turning it into an ongoing meme, so that’s all the more reason to position him as an icon.
