10 Wrestlers Who Could Take Over From The Undertaker

7. Kane

This would involve Kane putting the mask back on, and going back to being the Big Red Machine.
Since his debut in 1997, Kane has been one of the most destructive forces in the WWE. However, in recent years – especially since taking off the mask – he has strayed from the core of what made him a compelling performer, becoming what we know today as “Corporate Kane.” As a member of The Authority, Kane is just hired muscle – and that’s anything but compelling storytelling for such a distinguished worker.

At 48 years-old, Glenn Jacobs doesn’t have a lot of in-ring time left, but the reality is that he hasn’t had the number of injuries and issues that Taker has. In fact, he seems to be holding up admirably, and looked strong when booked against Roman Reigns at this week’s RAW.

Which is all the more reason to quickly have Jacobs put the mask back on, and go back to being the fiery, demonic Kane fans know and love. He’s still got a few matches left in him, and from a storyline perspective, it would make perfect sense to have him step in and continue the path of darkness and destruction blazed by his “brother.” It would be short-term based on his age, but could still really get a strong crowd reaction. Nostalgia always sells.
