Top 10 WWE Divas Of 2014 - 6

6. Nikki Bella

It was a breakthrough year for Nikki Bella. She was injured for much of 2013 with a foot injury, so it took a while for her to get going this year. Once she did, she showed that she improved a lot and grew as a character too.
There were times when her performances in some vignettes were cringe-worthy because of how bad they were. Things like saying she wished Brie died in the womb and those stories about Brie that she would end by saying “I didn’t tell anyone.” It’s not her fault, though. That’s the bad writing. Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t make that work.
If you watch Nikki in the ring, she looks as good as ever. Her timing is there, the offensive moves she uses differentiate her from her sister and that Rack Attack finishing move is very impressive. She looks more natural in the ring as opposed to her forced face act.
It would be interesting to see how good she could do in a match that went 12-15 minutes instead of the typical three minute TV matches or seven minutes for PPVs, but it’s clear that she has worked hard to improve this year. Give her credit for that.
