8. Guest Hosts/Stars

You would think WWE learned its lesson several years ago with the failed attempt at weekly celebrity hosts. The concept tired quickly and more often than not was an utter and total flop. Guest stars can work on occasion, but when WWE trots out someone who clearly has no knowledge of or interest in WWE, it shows – and the crowd is usually quick to turn on the person(s).

Even this fall alone, fans were “treated” to Kathie Lee and Hoda breaking gimmicked bottles on each other’s butt, Grumpy Cat sulking at the Miz and Larry the Cable Guy shirtless in a Rey Mysterio mask. Despite the awful reaction these segments got from fans, they have continued trotting out D-list celebrities who have no business being on a wrestling program.
