2. Daniel Bryan And AJ Lee

 

The “crazy chick” persona of AJ Lee was established when she was the on screen girlfriend of Daniel Bryan. It started in 2011 when Bryan was a heel on the Smackdown brand while she was a new diva that was trying to establish a name for herself.
In the early stages of the relationship it was one of those scenarios where AJ was in love with Bryan and Bryan never admitted that he cared about her. It was the typical wrestling storyline where the guy is a jerk to the girl, so you knew at some point the girl would get the strength to end things.

Most people remember WrestleMania 28 when Bryan got a good luck kiss from AJ, turned around and was nailed with a Brogue Kick by Sheamus, who won the World Title from Bryan after just 18 seconds.
The relationship was rocky after that. It led to all kinds of crazy things with AJ getting involved with other guys like Kane and CM Punk (her future husband). Suddenly, she became a main event level diva. Bryan proposed to her, then they were set to marry on Raw 1,000 in July 2012 and she walked out on him because Vince McMahon offered her the Raw GM job, which she accepted.
Looking back on it, their association was good for both of them and they proved to be a believable couple as well even though they went on to marry other co-workers.
