6. This Match Was Not The Original Plan

There was a report out earlier in the week stating that Reigns vs. Bryan is a match that was only decided upon days before it was announced.

They were going to have Reigns beat a heel to get him ready for WrestleMania with Big Show’s name out there as a possibility. Sine Show has been calling out Reigns leading up to the Rumble and they’ve had a lot of matches together, it made sense. There’s still a chance that they have more matches on television just to get Reigns a big win over a former top guy like Show.

As for Bryan, he was likely going to put over Bray Wyatt to get him ready for The Undertaker. That likely would have upset fans, so WWE made the decision to at least keep Bryan in the title picture for another month. Based on crowd reactions it was the right move.

Instead, they changed plans and set up this match.
