9. They Both Wanted Daniel Bryan

Vince McMahon is one of those macho kind of guys. He really doesn’t get it when somebody chooses to be a vegetarian or a vegan like Daniel Bryan was when he started his WWE career in 2010. Towards the end of 2010, Vince put the Bellas in a storyline with Bryan.

It was one of those cheesy WWE storylines where the hot girls like the nerdy guy. They repeatedly talked about how he was a vegan, which almost sounds like virgin, so it’s one of those “wink wink nudge nudge” deals where WWE does something without actually saying it.

The announcers would play dumb and wonder why they would like this guy. The real reason would be because they wanted to be his first time. They were heels, after all. Why did the story end? Because the Bellas walked in on Bryan making out with Gail Kim on a couch. Once that was revealed suddenly they weren’t interested in him anymore.

Of course, this angle also led to Bryan starting to date Brie and eventually they got married in 2014, so it all worked out well for those two in the end.
