10 Most Disappointing WWE Wrestlers Of 2014
Not everyone can have a great year in professional year. This year, though, it seems that many people had a terrible year. For every success story like Seth Rollins, and Damien Sandow, there were quite a few more who either remained stuck in neutral, or seemed to have backtracked in terms of success.
An example of a previous disappointment would be Ryback. In 2012, he was suddenly shot to the top of the card and main-evented two of the last three pay-per-views of the year. At the end of 2013, he was stuck in a mid-card tag team with Curtis Axel. Now that’s a disappointment!
This year Ryback may have bounced back a little bit, but others have essentially taken his place. In the vast majority of cases, the talent largely wasn’t at fault. Time and time again, creative has kept this generation of wrestlers from reaching their full potential. With so many hours of TV to fill, WWE has become careless in protecting the majority of their roster, which leaves most of them as interchangeable parts. From mid-carders who should have caught fire, to a former world champ tossed aside without any fanfare, here are the 10 most disappointing wrestlers of 2014.
