The Undertaker’s 10 Biggest Regrets In His WWE Career

6. Missing Out On The MMA Crossover

When The Undertaker started with the WWF, there was no such thing as the UFC. A few years later and MMA started gaining some notoriety, with Mark Calaway becoming a big fan of the cage fighting spectacle. However, there was little to no money in the sport, and it wasn’t until 2006 that the UFC properly boomed as a business.
When Ariel Helwani interviewed The Undertaker in 2010, the WWE star confirmed that if MMA had been around when he was younger it would be something he would’ve pursued.
He would have made the same transition that Brock Lesnar and CM Punk made, using WWE notoriety to become a draw in the UFC.
Unfortunately, UFC’s progression came too late in Undertaker’s life. He was already broken down physically and was north of forty when the MMA boom was happening in North America. His desire to fight for real is something that will never be satisfied.
