10 Wrestling Returns That Would Improve WWE TV

6. Kaval

In 2006, there were two highly talented foreign junior heavyweights competing in New Japan Pro Wrestling. One was Prince Devitt, who of course later became Finn Balor in WWE. The other was Low-Ki, who in WWE became Kaval and was released in 2010. In the two performers sharing much in common insofar as their wrestling styles, the idea that Kaval and Finn Balor may never wrestle in WWE (as Low-Ki and Prince Devitt did in New Japan) is quite unfortunate.

The concept that Balor has excelled while Kaval floundered says everything about just how much WWE has changed their opinion on internationally renowned and independent wrestlers. Change the era to 2015, and it’s quite likely that Kaval would be one of NXT’s main event darlings, in the position of Kevin Owens, or even more, possibly in the position of John Cena as US Champion (and wrestling both Owens and Balor, too). This is something sad to ponder for certain.
