Yes, Sting’s appearance at Wrestlemania appears to be a one-off, but there’s a good reason to bring back Sting one more time.

Sting’s a former WCW United States Champion. If WWE’s serious about making Kevin Owens a superstar, bringing out Sting for one night at Raw to have him question Owens’ motives as champion and have Sting versus Owens (and maybe including the babyface Owens is feuding with in the angle) for the championship is an idea. Owens beats up Sting unmercifully after cheating to get the advantage, and gets good heat in the process.

Again, if we’re trying to make Kevin Owens a superstar we’re actually needing to do much more substantive things with him in short order to truly get him over.
