REPRESENTING ALL THE NERDS OUT THERE’

Sept. 7, 2010

From humble beginnings in Union City, N.J., AJ Lee makes her lifelong dream of competing in a WWE ring a reality when she debuts during the all-Diva third season of WWE NXT. Dazzling the WWE Universe with a kinetic high-flying offense, the energetic Diva and self-professed geek would finish third in the WWE NXT competition, going on to make SmackDown debut on May 27, 2011.

SEALED WITH A KISS

April 1, 2012

In her first appearance on The Grandest Stage of Them All at WrestleMania XXVIII, AJ Lee accompanies her boyfriend Daniel Bryan to the ring for his World Heavyweight Championship clash with Sheamus. Prior to the bout, AJ leans over the ropes to give Bryan a good luck kiss, leaving him vulnerable to a Brogue Kick from The Celtic Warrior. AJ’s kiss unwittingly costs her boyfriend his title, but it also places the Diva at the center of controversy — somewhere she becomes quite comfortable.

DON’T CALL HER ‘CRAZY’

May 21, 2012

Distraught after Daniel Bryan publicly ended their relationship, AJ Lee finds herself on an emotional rollercoaster that leads her right to CM Punk. Drawn to The Straight Edge Superstar’s intense discipline and irreverent attitude, AJ Lee begins assisting Punk in battles against her ex-boyfriend and even dons CM Punk gear to show her affection for him. When Punk does not reciprocate her advances, the obsessive AJ ultimately takes drastic measures by sending The Second City Saint crashing through a ringside table.

RUNAWAY BRIDE

July 23, 2012

Less than four months after AJ Lee’s distracting good luck smooch cost Daniel Bryan the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXVIII, the submission specialist surprisingly asked the unhinged Diva for her hand in marriage. The ceremony on Raw 1,000 takes an unexpected turn, however, when AJ — seemingly moments before becoming Mrs. Daniel Bryan — reveals she’s already said “yes” to another man: WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon. The Chairman announces AJ Lee as Raw’s new General Manager as Monday night’s hottest show moved to three hours.

THE ‘AJ SCANDAL’

Oct. 22, 2012

Trading her punk rock–inspired ring attire for business suits, AJ Lee had wholly embraced her role as Raw’s General Manager, much to the chagrin of the calculating Vickie Guerrero, who saw fit to sully the reputation by unearthing what came to be known as the “AJ Scandal.” Accused of having an inappropriate relationship with John Cena, AJ is forced to resign from her post by the WWE Board of Directors. But the rumored relationship between AJ and Cena would ultimately materialize as an actual one.

STEALING THE SHOW

Dec. 16, 2012

At WWE TLC, the unpredictable AJ Lee closes the book on her relationship with John Cena and, no, it does not end “happily ever after.” Live in front of thousands of WWE Universe members packed inside Brooklyn, N.Y.’s Barclays Center, AJ Lee interferes in the Cenation leader’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match with Dolph Ziggler, knocking Cena off a ladder and ensuring her new romantic interest, The Showoff, would retain his World Heavyweight Championship contract.

DIVAS CHAMPION

June 16, 2013

After preying on Kaitlyn for weeks with sadistic mind games, AJ Lee finally collides with her former best friend at WWE Payback, challenging “The Hybrid Diva” for the illustrious Divas Championship.  In an emotionally charged bout, these one-time “Chickbuster” allies hold nothing back, but it was ultimately AJ’s excruciating submission hold, the Black Widow, that makes her golden that night in Chicago. By defeating Kaitlyn, AJ becomes the 15th Divas Champion in WWE history — an accolade 14 years in the making for the unpredictable femme fatale.
WWE PROFILE BIO 2013
Is AJ Lee the figment of some Manga-geek’s adolescent imagination? She’s an avid video gamer, regularly thumbs through comic books and wears the scuffs on her Chuck Taylors with pride. But don’t be fooled. This unpredictable young woman is not as innocent as she looks.

Although she stands a petite, 5-foot-2, AJ is a fierce competitor with an energetic, high-flying style that poses a threat to any Diva. This bold New Jersey native first introduced herself to the WWE Universe on the third season of WWE NXT. She finished in third place, but won many WWE fans with her lucha-inspired moveset and indomitable fighting spirit.
A year after debuting on SmackDown in May 2011, AJ was pivotal in the 18-second outcome of the World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania XXVIII with a kiss to her beau, Daniel Bryan. The couple’s subsequent breakup sent AJ into an emotional tailspin, and went on to become romantically entangled with WWE’s top Superstars, including CM Punk, Kane and even John Cena.
Following a brief and controversial stint as Raw’s General Manager — a tenure marred by controversy due to her increasingly erratic behavior — AJ found herself in the arms of the brash Dolph Ziggler. Coincidentally enough, it was in the femme fatale’s home state that The Showoff “cashed in” his Money in the Bank contract on Alberto Del Rio to become the World Heavyweight Champion just one night after WrestleMania 29.
It wasn’t long before AJ claimed a championship of her own. After winning a No. 1 Contender’s Divas Battle Royal on Raw, the calculating manipulator pretended to be Kaitlyn’s “secret admirer” for weeks — a mind game that culminated on Raw just six days before their title clash at WWE Payback.
AJ beat her former friend for the Divas Championship with her punishing Black Widow submission maneuver, but she didn’t just take “The Hybrid Diva’s” title — she destroyed her emotionally. It was a disturbing reminder that there is nothing more dangerous than a woman scorned.
Not merely satisfied with vanquishing her rival, the twisted titleholder continued playing mind games. At Money in the Bank, Kaitlyn looked as though she had AJ on the ropes, but the champion locked in the Black Widow and forced her estranged friend to tap out, retaining her Divas Championship. AJ’s night was soon soured, however, as she interfered in Ziggler’s World Heavyweight Championship Match and attacked Alberto Del Rio, drawing a disqualification that killed Dolph’s chances of grabbing the title.
After Ziggler made it clear that he was done with AJ the following night, the ferocious femme fatale retaliated by slapping Ziggler across the face and beamed when Big E Langston left him laying in the middle of the ring.
Despite being ditched by Dolph, AJ’s ego remains unchallenged in WWE. The brash titleholder confronted the cast of “Total Divas” and proclaimed in no uncertain terms that none of the women on the hit reality show are qualified to share the ring with AJ Lee. She successfully defended the Divas Championship against Natalya, Naomi and Brie Bella in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Night of Champions.
Thanks to a welcome distraction by her new enforcer, Tamina Snuka, AJ Lee retained her title against Brie Bella at WWE Battleground and in a repeat performance at WWE Hell in a Cell. But at Survivor Series, AJ, and her team of six other Divas came up short against the “Total Divas” in a Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match. AJ suffered another defeat in a Survivor Series rematch the following night, leaving the Divas Champion with some yet unfinished business with the entire “Total Divas” cast. Just six nights after Natalya earned a definitive victory over Tamina live on Raw, AJ successfully defended her title against the Hart Dungeon-trained beauty at WWE TLC: Tables Ladders & Chairs on Dec. 15., thanks to the help of Tamina Snuka looming at ringside. AJ celebrated her second victory over the “Total Divas” in as many nights when she teamed with Tamina and Alicia Fox against The Bella Twins & Natalya in a Six-Diva Tag Team Match.
No matter what happens next to her or or championship, one thing remains clear: the always-unpredictable AJ Lee will always keep us guessing.

WWE PROFILE BIO 2012
Is AJ Lee the figment of some Manga-geek’s adolescent imagination? She exudes the perfect girl-next-door vibe, is a self-described video gamer, enjoys wearing Catholic schoolgirl plaids, and possesses the physical skills of a gymnast. But don’t be fooled. She’s not as innocent as she looks.
Although she stands a petite, 5-foot-3 frame, AJ is a fierce competitor with an energetic, high-flying style that poses a threat to any Diva. This proud New Jersey native first introduced herself to the WWE Universe on the third season of WWE NXT. She finished in third place, but won many WWE fans with her lucha-inspired move set and indomitable fighting spirit.
A year after debuting on SmackDown in May 2011, AJ was pivotal in the 18-second outcome of the World Heavyweight Championship Match at WrestleMania XXVIII with a kiss to her beau, Daniel Bryan. The couple’s subsequent breakup sent AJ into an emotional tailspin, and she has continued to develop crushes on WWE’s top Superstars, including CM Punk.
Shortly after experiencing the love loss of Bryan, AJ began displaying a bizarre pattern of erratic behavior that caught the entire WWE Universe off-guard. Seemingly without reason, she slapped trusted confidante Kaitlyn and began inserting herself fearlessly into big-game situations involving her apparent love interests.
The strange love triangle between AJ, Punk and Bryan reached a boiling point at Money in the Bank, when The unpredictable Diva was the special guest referee for the WWE Title Match between the two. Speculation was abound that AJ would side with one of her love interests, but she seemed rather indecisive. She went so far as to drop a steel chair in between the two combatants and let them battle over the weapon, rather than hand it to either one.
However, AJ’s romantic endeavors soon focused on one Superstar. On Raw the night after Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan proposed to her in the ring. Bryan looked elated as the Diva said “YES!” before he planted a kiss on her in front of the WWE Universe.
The happy couple’s nuptials came to a screeching halt on Raw’s historic 1,000th episode when WWE Chairmain Mr. McMahon informed the WWE Universe that AJ is the new Raw General Manager, much to the dismay of Bryan.
Lee’s first night in office was quite eventful. On top of having Bryan undergo a full mental evaluation, she made a blockbuster main event in the form of John Cena vs. Big Show for a WWE Title opportunity at SummerSlam. When the match ended in controversy due to WWE Champion CM Punk’s interference, she made a huge announcement: Punk would defend his title at SummerSlam against both Superstars in a Triple Threat Match!
At The Biggest Party of The Summer, the WWE Title bout ended in controversy when CM Punk and John Cena each locked Big Show in simultaneous submission holds, forcing the giant to tap out. Both Cena and Punk argued they should be declared winner, until Lee skipped to ringside and ordered the match be restarted, before the issue grew even larger.
Of course, AJ’s tenure as Raw General Manager isn’t widely accepted by everyone in the WWE locker room. Lee forced Dolph Ziggler to put his Money in the Bank contract on the line against Chris Jericho, though The Showoff was successful and Jericho left WWE, Vickie Guerrero took issue with AJ’s decision making. Guerrero claimed that Ziggler’s Money in the Bank contract defense was unfair and demanded that WWE’s Board of Directors remove AJ from power, placing Vickie in the position instead. In response, AJ attacked Guerrero, leaving the WWE Universe wondering if Lee is mad with power of just plain mad.
As her actions grow more confounding by the day, AJ’s confidence has risen in step. The once doe-eyed Diva has taken on the appearance of a confused, but determined competitor who refuses to be relegated to afterthought status – be it by her competition, the WWE Universe … or her squared circle crushes. What else does she have in store for Monday nights as GM?

The happy couple’s nuptials would come to a screeching halt WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon informed the WWE Universe that AJ is the new Raw General Manager, much to Bryan’s dismay.
AJ’s tenure as Raw GM was short-lived, however, and she resigned from her post due to an alleged inappropriate relationship with John Cena, much to the delight of new Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero. As The Queen Diva relished the opportunity to humiliate AJ and further expose her fraternization with the Cenation leader, the entire WWE Universe was shocked to learn the fiery Diva was actually in a steamy relationship with the 12-time World Champion, which earned AJ a Slammy Award for Best Kiss of the Year!
Even more surprising was what transpired at WWE TLC, when AJ intervened in Cena’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match with Dolph Ziggler, costing The Cenation Commander-in-Chief a World Championship opportunity and allowing The Showoff to retain his Money in the Bank contract. The following night, AJ made it clear that her allegiance now lies with Ziggler … and a mysterious NXT newcomer by the name of Big E Langston.
AJ & Ziggler had hoped to kick off 2013 in grandiose fashion with a special New Year’s Eve toast, but The Showoff and his deceitful gal pal had little reason to raise their glasses at the end of the night thanks to the Cenation leader. As the couple attempted to humiliate Cena by highlighting his missteps in 2012, the 12-time World Champion retaliated by dumping a hot, smelly mess all over the egotistical pairing. Cena didn’t say exactly what the brown substance was, but judging by Ziggler and AJ’s reaction … it wasn’t chocolate pudding. With the massive Big E Langston by her side, AJ Lee has joined her “Ziggy” in his quest to prevent the Cenation leader from winning the Royal Rumble Match.
Through it all, one thing is clear about AJ Lee: She always keeps us guessing.

Miss April’s G.L.O.R.Y. Wrestling Profile

Miss April

Wrestler
Many fans think of Miss April as one of the most-exciting new wrestlers to hit the Northeast indy rings in quite some time. But April looks at things a little differently: she sees herself as a soldier in the revolution of women’s wrestling. And anyone who has seen Miss April in action wearing her trademark camouflage gear knows that she’s much more than a soldier in that fight…she’s a general leading the charge! High-flying, technically sound and unafraid to step into the ring against any opponent, watch for big things from the talented Miss April as she battles her way up the ranks of the women’s division.

 Miss April’s Stats…

  •  Height: 5′ 2″
  •  Weight: 107
  •  Hair: Brown
  •  Eyes: Brown
  •  Hometown: Union City, New Jersey (USA)
  •  Age: 26
  •  Birthday: March 19
  •  Years In Wrestling: 38 ½

    Miss April’s Profile…

    • How It Started: I would credit my brother for getting me into wrestling in the first place. I always looked up to him and wanted to do whatever he was doing. He was a huge wrestling fan so I eventually became one, too. I remember my first idol ever was Miss Elizabeth. She was so beautiful and classy, I wanted to grow up to be just like her. I really fell in love with the business, and knew that I wanted to be a part of it, around the year 2000 when women’s wrestling started to make its mark. A short time after I graduated high school I began researching wrestling schools and found out that there was one only a mile from my house. I started working a full time job just to pay the school’s tuition, became an official student in March 2007, and haven’t looked back since.
      • Miss April isn’t one to break the rules. She is all for doing what’s right, drinking milk, saving kittens from trees…you know, the usual. She is a soldier in the revolution of women’s wrestling (hence the camouflage). Miss April doesn’t care about the flashy costumes, t&a, barbie doll aspects of the business. She just cares about the wrestling and will never back down from a fight.
      • Wrestling Style: At 107 pounds I’m not exactly a powerhouse, so my wrestling style is based around aerial and technical moves incorporated with Mexican style wrestling. However, if need be, there’s no problem a stiff right arm won’t solve.
      • Gear: My brother was in the Army, and as an homage to him I only wear camouflage.
      • Titles Held: WSU Women’s Tag Team Champions (with Brooke Carter).
      • Favorite Type of Match: Singles would have to be my favorite, however mixed tags are a lot of fun, too. I love any chance to show that I can hang with the guys. Plus they’re so much more fun to beat up on!
      • Favorite Moves/Holds: Spin kick; Yakuza kick; missile dropkick; head scissors; hurracanrana; a variety of Mexican arm drags.
      • Finisher: ”Shining Wizard”; “Sliced Bread #2″.
      • Biggest Allies: Jay Lethal; Thomas “The Gate” Rodriguez; Giovanni Marranca; Dan Murdoch; The BS Express.
      • Career Highlight: Winning the 2009 King and Queen of the Ring Tournament. It was one of my favorite moments for two reasons: First, I loved getting in there with the guys and utilizing much more of my arsenal than usual; and, second, it was also really special for me to finally have a match with Jay (Lethal). I’ve spent more time in the ring with him than with anyone since he’s the one who trained me for the past two years, but we had never had an actual match together until then.
      • Favorite Wrestlers: Growing up, my favorites were Bret Hart and Randy Savage.
      • Wrestling Ambition: I’ve never gone into anything in my life without fully expecting to push myself to my limit and become the absolute best I can. I hope to wrestle my way to the top of this industry, and to one day be considered one of the best female wrestlers out there. I’ve got a long way to go, but I’m confident and I have a lot of faith. I also hope to be a role model to young women. I was personally inspired by Lita. I was always a tomboy and was really insecure about it. When Lita came along, I finally had someone to look up to. She showed me you didn’t have to be a girly girl to be beautiful, and it was ok to be a strong, athletic woman. I hope to one day be that same kind of role model and show girls that no matter your looks, style, race or size, you are capable of doing anything you put your mind to.

        Miss April’s Personal Notes…

If I wasn’t wrestling, my career focus would be on writing…..I attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, majoring in Film and Television production…..I have a special love for animals, and one of my life’s goals is to open a rescue shelter for homeless dogs…..Some of my other loves are just about every sci-fi book or movie ever, video games, anime and wrestling autobiographies.
