#3 Invasion becoming a one sided squash

When WWE bought WCW, there were a plethora of possibilities and the invasion angle was the most anticipated one from the lot.

However, what it was lacking was the big stars from WCW. There was no Goldberg, No Sting or no other big names that would’ve made it look like a fair game. Instead it was just a one sided affair which was just made up to feed Vince McMahon’s ego.

WCW was no longer made to look like a worthy opponent for the WWE and it ended up being a squash which ruined an angle which had a lot of potential.
