When Is Batista Expected To Make His WWE Return?
Now that the promotion of the film is over, Batista could come back to WWE at any time although we have no idea when that might be. A new report from PWInsider notes that several people within WWE who believe that Batista will never return to WWE as a full time performer. When he came back to WWE in January 2014 the deal was for two years, which would probably go until WrestleMania 32 in 2016. That could change, though.
In addition to Batista’s desire to wrestle again, there are also concerns about Batista getting injured now that his film career is taking off. He’s 45 years old with a long list of injuries in his career and he’s not going to put his acting career at risk to wrestle full time.
Batista’s done a number of interviews in the last couple of months where he said that he was going to come back to WWE again. It’s just a matter of when. What will be interesting about his return is if he’ll still work live events like he did in the past or if he’ll only work Raw events and PPVs. He’s discussed how he wanted his last match to be against Triple H. Many people thought that might be at WrestleMania 32 in 2016, but don’t be surprised if it happens at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 instead.
The WWE future of Batista is very much in doubt. He’s supposed to be back “soon” although at this point we have no idea when that will be.
