“I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news for you…” before Wade Barrett got his career in wrestling, he was studying to be a Marine Biologist!

The Englishman was studying at the University Of Liverpool and achieved his degree in the field of Marine Biology. That sort of science is some serious stuff and Barrett must be a really smart guy to have attained his degree. He spent most of his time in a laboratory setting and would have found various employment opportunities with such a valuable degree to his name.

However, he had different ideas. He was a genuine tough-man and had taken part in various bare knuckle fights. A much safer fighting environment was pro wrestling and Barrett eventually found himself going down that route.
