9. Paul Heyman – Nightclub Photographer

In 1985, Paul Heyman started work as a photographer at the world famous New York City nightclub known as Studio 54. Paul being Paul, it wasn’t long before he’d earned a promotion and was working as a promoter for the club.

This was actually how Heyman learned some of the basics in successful promoting. He was having to arrange and sell events at Studio 54, just in the same way he’d have to promote wrestling events in ECW ten years later.

Heyman had learned to hustle.
