WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Nov 2)
4. Cesaro Points Out The Obvious. Pays The Price
In an interview with Liverpool Echo, Cesaro said what all fans were thinking about John Cena and Randy Orton. Basically, they’ve wrestled 500 times against each other, and we’d all rather have El Torito kick us in the collective crotches than have to watch them fight again. I’m not sure he said the second part, but he may as well have.
Cesaro, who should have been a main-eventer months ago, had a rough week after bringing this fact up. On Sunday, he took a surprise two straight falls in his match against Ziggler. Then on Monday he didn’t even make it to his match before Dean Ambrose hit him in the head with a foam microphone 400 times. To end the week on SmackDown, he got beaten with pumpkins and candy. His head literally ended up in a pumpkin. How does one come back from that?
Like Zack Ryder, Ryback, and Dolph Ziggler before him, Cesaro has learned his lesson. Don’t speak out about your push, even though it’s not your fault that you’re not getting over. Pretend that Cena vs. Orton is still fresh and exciting, and always, always, at any possible moment talk about how great Hunter and Stephanie are. It’s what’s best for business.
