6. She Is Good Friends With The Great Khali

You might recall that there was a time in her career a few years ago where she was often paired with The Great Khali and sometimes Hornswoggle as well. It was at a time when they really didn’t have a direction for her, so she was just out there hanging out with her friends. Thankfully those days are over, but what has surprised some people is that Natalya is close friends with Khali.

Here’s how Natalya explained things to Slam Wrestling: “People go up to me and say, ‘Gosh Nattie, that was goofy and you’re a wrestler.’ Well guess what? I absolutely adore The Great Khali in real life and Hornswoggle is one of my good friends. It was fun! Who gets to dance with a 7’2″ giant, especially one who can’t dance? I almost had Khali accidentally fall on me, [and] clothesline me on live television!”

She’s also done recent interviews where she has said that he is extremely smart and well spoken. She has said that when her husband TJ (Tyson Kidd) isn’t on the road with her, she sometimes travels with Khali because they are good friends. A lot of fans may find that funny because of how Khali is portrayed on television, but it’s one of those things that people really don’t know about unless you get to the know the man.
