5. Val Venis “Choppy Choppy Your Pee Pee” With Kaientai

The Val Venis character was the perfect example of a sexually explicit performer. His gimmick was that of a porn star that would wear a towel on his way to the ring and rattle of some dialogue while making a sex joke. A lot of the jokes were funny too. He was mostly a fan favorite because the crowd got a kick out of a guy that was paid to have sex with women.

In the summer of 1998, Val was in a storyline with the evil Japanese group known as Kaientai. After he ended up seducing Yamaguchi San’s wife, the group set out to go after him. They symbolically showed what they would do to Val by bringing out a sausage and cutting it with a knife on the Raw stage. He said that he was going to “choppy choppy your pee pee” to Venis in what has become a very memorable line because of how silly he was.

On the August 3, 1998 edition of Raw, the Kaientai group ended up capturing Val and then we got a shot of them with a naked Val in room while his hands were tied above him. Raw ended that week with the Kaientai group looking like they were going to chop of Val’s penis.

The next week, Venis was back and John Wayne Bobbitt (famous for having his penis cut off by his wife) was with him. Basically, the idea was that Venis was going to be fine and that was pretty much the end of the angle.

Chopping off a man’s penis? That was a very explicit way of pushing a storyline to a point that really wasn’t necessary.
