10. Paying Tribute To Past Champions Was A Cool Idea

Prior to all the title matches, WWE showed images of past champions for each title. It’s important for WWE acknowledge history especially in this day and age where they are promoting WWE Network all the time. It will make people want to look back to see when certain performers were in their prime and winning certain titles.

If they wanted to take it a step further they could have done something where they brought out former champions to be ringside for each title match to present the winners with their titles. For example for the IC Title it could be Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels. For the US Title it could be Harley Race. Trish Stratus could have been brought in for the Divas Title. There are a lot of options for every title. Perhaps they felt like it wasn’t necessary to bring in people, but it’s something to consider for down the line.

They didn’t show photos prior to the WWE Title match although they were featured in the opening video, so that was fine.
