As we have already covered, Renee was a wrestling fan dating back to childhood. Her father, a concert promoter in the Toronto area, had certain perks, one of them being his ability to get his daughter into the backstage area of WWE events.

As a child, the future NXT commentator was able to meet Hall of Famers Steve Austin and Trish Stratus, current WWE COO Triple H and Chyna, not to mention others. Years later, she would work alongside three of them, interviewing them in countless backstage segments and in internet exclusive pieces. One can only imagine what she must have been feeling when standing arm-to-arm with the icons she met as an innocent child years earlier.
