7. Mark Henry Getting Frisky With Sammy The Transsexual

Mark Henry is very likely going to be a WWE Hall of Famer one day. He’ll likely retire in a year or two and then get inducted soon after. When he does, the chances are good that there will be absolutely no mention of the storyline he was involved in with Chyna and Sammy the transsexual in early 1999. It was a time when Henry was infatuated with Chyna. He was doing his gimmick where he claimed to be a sex addict, so he tried really hard to get with Chyna. She wasn’t interested, so she brought along her friend Sammy. What people assumed was that Mark had a fun time with Sammy after a show, but that’s not what really happened. The next week on Raw, Chyna went to the ring to show the world what happened. While she did that, Mark’s mom (not really her) was at ringside to see it too. It was an embarrassing sight as Mark got frisky with Sammy and when he started to undress her he shouted out that Sammy had a penis. Sammy was a transsexual. Mark ended up puking while fans in the arena laughed at him. Chyna ended up giving him a low blow for good measure. It was such an over the top and ridiculous storyline. Once again, it was proof that WWE had no problem doing anything to get attention. It’s just that a story like that really did more bad than good.
